Chair's Message

Hello Members and Friends of TCDC,

Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend for a Canvass Kickoff with the NY Dems, Senator Lea Webb, and Assemblymember Anna Kelles. We sent out many groups of canvassers to talk to voters in the City of Ithaca and Dryden.

It’s time to sign up to volunteer! We need your help to send Josh Riley back to Congress to keep fighting for our community and to reelect Anna Kelles and Lea Webb so they can continue their great work for all of us, including their efforts to stop data centers.

The Midterm Election is just 61 Days away!

It’s time to roll up your sleeves, dust off your favorite sneakers, and help us make sure everyone in Tompkins County votes in this election. Each of us can make this happen.

Sign up to Canvass: Our coordinated campaign has multiple daily shifts to make it easy for you to find a few hours to knock on doors and support our candidates. Never canvassed before? Don’t worry! Our field organizers will train you and make sure you are ready to get out there and connect with voters.

Sign up to Phonebank: The NY Dems are hosting weekly phonebanks on Wednesdays from 6PM - 8PM in support of Josh Riley and all of our candidates. Phonebanking is easy and you’ll receive training and support from the field team. Commit to a few hours weekly to help make sure we get all of our candidates over the finish line in November!

Volunteer: While talking to voters is the most important thing we can do to win this election, there are lots of other ways you can help! Stop by the TCDC Campaign Office at 119 West Green Street in Ithaca to pick up a lawn sign and sign up to volunteer. The office is staffed Monday through Friday between 10AM - 6PM with expanded weekend hours coming after Labor Day.
